Logan has been growing like a weed and he is as smart as they come! He can do so many things that most 3 or 4 year olds can't! We are bursting with pride!!! (If you can't tell by my overusage of exclamation points!!! LOL) Here are his top 5 accomplishments this year:
1. His ever expanding vocabulary! He has become a complete chatterbox!
2. Learning to read! Right now he can only read site words that we practice over and over again. I am hoping he will start recognizing phonetic conections between different words and then use this knowledge to read a word he has never seen before.
3. Sianora diapers! People are amazed that Logan has just turned 2 and that he is potty trained. He is like a little celebrity in public restrooms and he loves every bit of the attention : )
4. Sharing is caring! Having a little sister has definitely helped Logan learn how to play nicely with others. It melts my heart when I see him helping other children on the playground.
5. Developing personality! Logan's personality shows more and more evey month. Logan is extremely determined and he wants to do everything by himself. He is also a perfectionist. When Logan learns a new task he will do it over and over again until he feels he has perfected it. When he learned how to open doors, that was pretty much all he did all week. In addition, Logan loves to make people laugh and is a total goof ball.
I can't even imagine how much he will grow this next year! Look at how big he has gotten in only 2 years!!!:
