A Fun Filled Saturday

On Saturday morning, Doug's brother and his wife invited us to go see Santa at their YMCA.  Their YMCA is so nice and they put on such a nice Christmas event! The kids were able to get their faces painted, have their picture taken with Santa, and eat some yummy cookies! Aila was afraid of Santa but she was ok if Doug or I held her.  The actual picture the photographer took came out so nice! I need to scan it into the computer so you all can see it.

After the Y, Grace came over our house to play with Logan and Aila.  They had a blast, especially when Doug took them all on a walk and let them walk the dog.

In the evening we headed to the Kemah Boat Parade.  It was way overcrowded and the parade started way late.  By the time it finally started the kids were already pretty much done.  We got to see a couple boats and then it got crazy cold and windy all of a sudden so we decided to head home.

Trip to the Zoo

On Friday I took the kids to the Galleria and then Doug me tup with us after work and we all went to the zoo.

Logan's Christmas Song

Logan loves making up his own songs.  Check out his Punk Rock Christmas song:

Logan's Christmas Pageant

Logan was in a Christmas pageant with his preschool.  His class sang a song about the 3 kings and all the classes sang "We Wish you a Merry Christmas" at the end.  It was really cute! Logan actually sang this time and didn't just stand there like a deer in headlights! Maybe he is getting over some of his stage fright.  We are so proud of him because we know how hard it is for him to be in front of a big crowd : ) Aila on the otherhand does not have an ounce of stage fright in her.  She kept trying to get on stage and she was singing and dancing along from the audience.

Playing at the Park

I ventured out for the first time on my own with all 3 kids and we had a lot of fun! So far 3 is not much different from having 2.
