Aila is 8 Months Old!

On the 16th Aila will be 8 months old! She has made a lot of progress this month. She is no longer crawling like GI Jane, yippee!!! She has also learned how to pull herself up to standing and will even walk if you hold her hands! Aila has started eating table food and she is loving every minute of it. So far she does not seem to have the choking problem Logan did and she mashes her food really well. If I'd let her, she would sit in her high chair and eat all day! She is constanltly trying to steal food from Logan and she can spot a crumb from a mile away. With each passing month her personality shows more and more. Aila is very happy go lucky but she also seems to be sensitive. If she falls on her butt from standing she sticks out her bottom lip and makes this pouty face. When we stick her in her car seat she makes a face like "What are you doing to me?" and if we take food away from her she will furrow her eye brows in a little mad face that looks as if she is saying "You meany!" She can clap her hands now and she is learning how to wave. I bet pretty soon she will start doing her baby signs because she already seems eager to communicate with us. She is our beautiful little princess and we are so proud of her!
