Logan is 19 Months Old!

I say it every month, and every month I can't believe it: Logan is getting so big!!! He can now say 40 words!!! New words this month are all done, apple, cold, ho ho ho!, ok, and sleeping. (I am probably the only nerd mom who keeps a spreadsheet of my kid's words) He is starting to put two words together i.e. "up dada", "cracker please", and "baby sleeping". The biggest thing this month was reading his first three words! We are so proud of him! He is starting to listen more and more and having less and less tantrums. Yay!!! He is even getting better at sharing (he used to be quite the toy theif). The only negative thing is that he seems to be having separation anxiety again. He has beeen crying again when we put him in the church nursery. Atleast this time we know that it is only a phase and hopefully it will be over with soon. I had hoped to start potty training by now but Logan is still on medicine to go #2 and he is either constipated or has diahreah, so until we can get that straightened out it won't be worth trying. We go the doctor on Tuesday for Logan and Aila's checkup so hopefully the doctor can figure something else out.

When we stay at home this is the routine that we follow. Logan likes the predictability of a routine and he loves having changes in activity throughout the day.:

I remember when he used to need my help to go down the slide... now he can do it by himself!

Observing the sand. He can be so serious and studious:

He loves peeking out at me from this tunnel:

This is his "evil" grin. He smiles like this when he is testing me and doing something he is not supposed to (notice the lollipop stick in his hand that he picked up off the floor... a big no no! YUCK!):

My little monkey climbs so whell that I have seen him climb higher than some 5 year olds on the jungle gym!

Hey remind me next time I see you to tell you about a scheduling system we use with kids in PT, it's called a PECs system and I can help you make one if you want. I made a few for the last clinic I was in and they loved them...they're necessary for kids with autism and just fun and helpful to use with typical kids, and you can also teach reading with it too!

He climbs up high just like his mom... I remember you getting to the bar above the swings in the park...
