Every little bit helps!

October was a very eventful month. We had so many fall parties to keep us busy. The kids loved it of course and Logan seems to think he should be able to eat candy every day now...sorry buddy! It's not gonna happen!

The good news is that Doug's business has picked up the last two weeks and hopefully it will continue on an upward trend. Doug was also having stomach problems for over 40 days and the problem has miraculously disappeared so praise God for that too!

Doug took another test for a fire department this month for El Mirage, AZ and he flew out this morning to take another one in Colorado. He also signed up for one more for the Salt River Indian Reservation. On top of that, a church in Baton Rouge is interested in Doug and asked him to fill out a survey. We have no idea what direction the Lord will be taking us but we are sooooooo READY!

The kids are doing great. Aila has started talking more and more. She says a lot of things the exact same way Logan does! Sometimes I have to figure out who said it! She is also trying to assert more of her independence. She wants to grab the spoon when I feed her and she wants to walk everwhere! No more carrying for this little girl! Logan is becomming more and more of a big brother. He likes to tell Aila things that I tell him like, "No, no Aila. You will hit your head. Ok Aila?" I must say "OK" a lot because Logan always includes that in his instructions for her. He has also been syaing the funniest things. Yesterday he asked me, "Mommy, do people ride cowboys?" What a goober!

Well I am going to start looking up free events for November so I can plan out our month. I hope you all are doing well! Thank you for keeping our family in your prayers!
