What: Pumpkin Days and Fall Maze. Pumpkin patch, corn mazes (family-friendly and haunted), petting zoo, activities, train ride and hayride. Haunted Corn Maze. $7 ages 2 & up; additional cost for train ride ($2) and haunted maze ($15).

What: Railfair will feature model train displays and exhibits, moonwalks, and other entertainment from 10 a.m. to 5p.m each day. The park’s railroad exhibit featuring the Roald Amundsen Pullman car, a former presidential car, will be offering free tours. Many of the parks’s seldom seen railroad equipment will also be on display. Admission to Railfair is FREE. Train rides are $2.00 and carousel rides are $1.00 each with children under three riding free with a paying adult.

What: Fall Festival:, Oct. 16-17. Celebrate the fall season and head to the Ranch for an action-packed family day. Some of the festival's highlights include face painting, horse kissing booth, bounce house, horse painting, cake walk, hay ride to the pumpkin patch, games and a silent auction. A haunted attraction is featured Friday night from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.. $5 for adults; free for children 12 and under.

What:: The Rosson House/Heritage Square Foundation and Guild hosts a Harvest Festival featuring food, corn husk dolls, face painting, live music plus arts and crafts and antique sale.

What: The Gilbert Family Halloween Carnival features Frankenstein's Fishing Hole, ghost bingo, pumpkin decorating, inflatable bounces and slides, a food and beverage court and live entertainment.

What: Fire House Fun Day is held in celebration of National Fire Prevention Month and Halloween. The event features an appearance by Smokey the Bear, truck rides, food, clowns, face painting, balloons, bucket brigades, water activities and goodie bags. FREE

What: This family event features games, crafts, face painting, an obstacle course, and train rides. Embark on an adventure at the rock wall, savor all the fall flavors including cotton candy and snow cones. All activities are free.
Where: Desert Mountain Park 22201 South Hawes Road Queen Creek, AZ 85242
What: Desert Mountain Park in Queen Creek offers trick-or-treating out of car trunks, a bone garden, phantom fun house and a canine costume contest.
Where: Kiwanis Park, Tempe Phoenix, AZ
What: The 32nd Annual Family Halloween Carnival features a night of fun, food and fright. The event includes costume contests, carnival games and face painting.
