Aila turned 6 months old today. We had a doctor appointment this morning and Aila got some shots. She is such a trooper though because she was not even fussy today. She was 13 lbs 14 oz and close to 26 inches long. She pulled a "Logan" though and dropped down for her weight percentage (bottom of the chart) and up for her height percentage (top of the chart). In fact I was looking at Logan's records today and it was at his 6 month check up that he dropped down on the weight chart and up for height and they started ordering all those tests. Fortunately I have a new pediatritian and he is not worried. He just wants Aila to start eating solids 4 times a day. He thinks genetics could play a part as well (especially since Logan is the same way) So yay no tests! Who knew being tall and thin could cause so much trouble! She'll be happy to be that way when she's older! So far Aila still doesn't have much hair and she still has her pretty light eyes. I think her face is changing and starting to look older, maybe even a little more like Logan. She is still scooting to get around but she can get up on her knees and she bounces back and forth. She can sit up for longer periods of time now but she prefers to tripod sit (where she puts her hand down to support her weight) because she likes to play with her toes! She is getting really good at grabbing things. She can grab my glasses off my face all the time and if you are holding her with your hair down you better watch out or you might loose a fist full! She has such a sweet spirit and loves to stroke your face and smile and coo at you. She's definitely our little princess!
