Friday at the Zoo

Can you believe that it is February and it is already in the 80s? The weather has been so perfect that I could not wait to go to the zoo! On Friday I took the kids and met my brother, his wife and their kiddos. We had so much fun!

Sweet Sunny

Our dog Sunny is so good with the kids. I never grew up with a big dog and so I was nervous when we got her. Doug always said that big dogs are good with kids because you can play rougher with them. Well he was right. Sunny loves playing with Logan and she doesn't mind if he tries to tackle her. In fact, she likes it! The two of them have become best buds.

Louisiana Update

So it looks like we will be flying out to Baton Rouge on April 1st and returning to AZ on April 6th. We will have some informal interviews and then will be shown around town. We will be looking at different areas and trying to make notes about the areas we would like to live. They are paying to fly both of us out so that is awesome and the kids are still free! We will probably be in Baton Rouge for a few days and then we are going to visit Doug's parents. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we are trying to figure out what the Lord has in store for our future!

This Made My Week

One of my old students wrote me this and it really made my week! It definitely makes me miss my teaching days!

i don't know if you remember me, but i certainly hope you do. My name is *(&*&%*$(%*, i had you in 7th grade for block class and then again in 8th grade for my dance coach =]

i have been doing SO well in dance at Highland High and it made me think of you the other day. Thanks to you i have found my favorite subject, english, and my absolute favorite activity which is dance. You truely inspired me to continue to dance in High School and im SO glad that you did! Also with english. Writing has become one of my strong passions and im doing SO well! i just really wanted to thank you for all that you did for me!

Dressed Up

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to dress my babies up! Now if only I could get the two of them to sit still in pictures! LOL My camera has a pretty long delay so by the time it takes the picture, one of them (usually Logan) has already moved. Here is my attempt:
