Houston Children's Museum

The Houston Children's Museum is free every first Sunday of the month and every single Thursday.  I took the kids on a Thursday before but Doug was unable to come because he has church at our house that night so we decided to go on Sunday as a family.  We all had a great time and we got to see some stuff that we missed out on last time!

Funny mirrors:

A lever maze:

I don't know who loved this car more, Logan or daddy?

It was funny to see a pay phone.  These things are pretty much extinct!

Logan loves sending his ball through this chute.  It gets sucked through a whole network of clear pipes all across the ceiling.

Logan and Aila both love trying to get these golf balls in the holes.

Daddy took Aila up on the pulley:

They had the cutest baby chicks:

One of the things we didn't get to do last time was this outdoor water flow area.  It has all kinds of water activities and machines to learn about the flow of water:

They have a whole cute Kid City with a police department, pizza restaurant, ambulance, vet clinic, bank, and grocery store.  Logan's favorite was getting to drive the ambulance and putting the siren lights on.  Aila loved the vet clinic and wanted to take the stuffed puppies home with her!

Who doesn't like to turn some wheels?

Trying to look like the sign on the way out:
