Happy Halloween!

We had a very full day planned for Halloween. In the morning, Vanessa took the kids to her old nursing support group for their annual Halloween party. It was so great to see everyone again and Logan loved getting to play with all of his old pals.

Logan and his friend Kylie both have a new sibling:

Kylie's mom and Vanessa were pregnant at the same time:

After the party, Vanessa took the kids to Nana's house. Logan loved Nana's decorations! We met Logan's cousins there and we all got ready to go trick or treating together.

Aila needed a nap from napping:

The biggest pumpkin we have ever seen:

When we finished trick or treating (we had tons of candy!) we went to a fall festival at Spring of Life Church. They had free hay rides, games, bouncers, food, trunk or treating, concerts and even a huge fire works show! Logan loved the hay ride and even tried to sing along. He went in a bouncer for the first time in his life and we are not sure he liked it. He did not jump and stayed on his hands and knees. We didn't think he liked it, but then he wanted to go in again. The second time did not go so well because in the middle of his turn they started the fireworks and Logan was petrified. We got him out and asked him if he liked the fireworks and he kept shaking his head NO and doing the signs for bye bye and sleep, so that is what we did (with Logan clinging for dear life onto Vanessa).

It was an awesome Halloween! Holidays are so much more fun when you get to see your kids enjoying them!
