Well we had to call our adoption agency and let them know we are pregnant. We weren't sure how this was going to affect our adoption. When we signed up with this agency they had a policy that if you became pregnant you would be removed from the waiting list and not allowed back on the list until the baby was 10 months old and when you got back on the list they would start you all the way over at the bottom.
Needless to say we were a little worried about the pregnancy complicating things. But as always, God was in control. We called the agency and they said that they had just recently changed that policy and that pregnancy is no longer an issue! We also found out that we are 2nd on the waiting list with our openness to either gender, age, health, etc and that they have 2 children they will be referring soon...which means we will most likely be referred one of those 2 children!
Our case worker said it looks like 2014 may be a BIG year for us!
We are super excited about our 2 future blessings and cannot wait to welcome our baby into the world and our adopted child into our home!
We still have to raise about $18,000 but that means we have raised almost $8,000 already so we know that God can totally do it! Please continue to pray for our family:
a. Pray for God's provision
b. Pray for health for me, the new baby and our Ugandan child
c. Pray for God to work out the timing of everything
d. Pray that God will grant us favor with the Ugandan courts and that traveling will go smoothly
e. Pray for us as we prepare to go from a family of 6 to a family of 8
f. Pray that God would mold us into the perfect parents for all of our children
