We were so blessed to be able to go to Louisiana for Labor Day weekend and spend time with family. Mimi and Papa had a bouncy house, a slip and slide, and a golf cart for the kids. They were in heaven! On Sunday, Doug had the honor of preaching at the church where his dad is interim pastor right now. After service we were so surprised to see Uncle Mark and Aunt Jen there. They had said they weren't coming for the weekend so that they could surprise everyone. Needless to say, the kids were ecstatic about getting to play with their cousins. What a great weekend!
We got to eat lunch at a restaurant and the kids got to see lots of soldiers since it was super close to an army base:
