AZ Christmas Trip Part 1

We made the 18 hour trek to AZ for Christmas! On our way there we stopped at Ghatti's Pizza for dinner. This place was really neat. It was a buffet and you could watch a kid's movie while you ate dinner. Then after dinner they had games, rides and a playground. THe kids got nice and wore out and it made out trip nice and smooth.

Our first day in AZ we got to see my mom, Aunt Mary, Uncle Ed, brother Darren and sis-in-law Amber. The kids were overjoyed to see their cousins and it was so nice for everyone to finally meet Ariah!

On Christmas Eve we baked a birthday cake for Jesus and the kids got to open 1 present each and it was a pair of new pjs from Nana.

On Christmas morning we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and ate birthday cake for breakfast. Then Doug read the Christmas story from his bible and afterward the kids opened their presents.

In the afternoon, the rest of my family came over and exchanged presents and we had a Christmas feast with ham! Yum!
