Logan's Barium Swallow

As many of you know, Logan has always been on the skinny side. Becuase of this, we have seen tons of specialists and have had tons of tests done. Finally, yesterday we think we have figured out the issue. Logan had a barium swallow in which they made him drink all different liquds of different thicknesses and took xrays. It turns out he has been "aspirating" his food and liquids; meaning that it has been going into his lungs instead of his stomach. Luckily Logan has a great immune system (thanks to my 10 months of breastfeeding : ) ) so he never got pnemonia or RSV. This is the reason why he gets wheezy and always has a runny nose (which the doctors originally thought he had allergies and asthma). So now we need to thicken all of his liquids and his lungs should dry out just fine and hopefully he will have an even better weight gain! It is nice to finally know what is going on and praise the Lord that it is nothing serious!
