Logan's GI Appointment

Today Logan had his follow up appointment with the Gastroenterologist at Phoenix Children's Hospital. The doctors have been worried about Logan's weight and so we have been having to go the specialist and having tons of tests done... very annoying and completely unecessary! But we figure we might as well get the tests done while we have good insurance. Today at his appointment he weighed 18 lbs 5 oz. The specialist was very happy with his weight gain and said that we can phase out one cup of pediasure (the high calorie drink they have him on to fatten him up- which is super expensive!) and replace it with whole milk! YAY We cannot wait until he is entirely on whole milk! They ordered more blood tests- surprise, surprise- to test his liver enzymes again (they were high the last time) and to check his iron. They also ordered a barium swallow test to check his swallowing and acid reflux since he is contstantly gagging on food. We have a weight check in a month and another follow up appointment in August. Please be praying that Logan starts packing on some pounds and that all these stupid tests turn out fine. We really want him to hit the 20 lb mark ASAP and we really want to be done with these dumb, paranoid doctors!
