On Saturday, Vanessa, Doug and Logan went to Max and Sarah's apartment to help them with a pool party/ bbq that they were putting on for their apartment. They are part of this really neat program called apartment life and are responsible for putting on events to establish a community within the apartment. The party was a total success and everyone had lots of fun! Then we went to the Diamondbacks game that evening. Someone gave us free tickets! It was Logan's first game and he totally loved it. He kept clapping when the crowd clapped and he would jump up and down when the Dbacks hit a home run (which they did 4 times! what an amazing game!) After the game we took one of those bike taxis back to our car. Logan was mesmorized and could not take his eyes off the bike tires.
On Sunday, we went to church twice : ) In the morning we went to Family of Faith Fellowship. After the service they had a potluck to celebrate the pastor receiving his Phd. Then Doug preached Sunday night at another church because their pastor was out of town. He did such an amazing job and it was a really great message!
