Logan's Birthday and Mother's Day

This year Logan's first birthday fell on mother's day! It was so much fun celebrating together. We started the day off by giving him his breathing treatment (he had a cold that gave him an icky cough, but he is all better).

Then Vanessa got to open her mother's day card from Logan and Doug. Logan even wrote his mommy a little note in the card, strangely in Doug's handwriting LOL, and they got her a gift certificate to get her nails done! How sweet : )

Then it was time to get ready to go to the zoo. At the zoo we met Granny and Papa (Doug's parents) and got to see lots of fun animals! Logan even crawled around with some goats!

After the zoo we went to eat lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen and Logan got to open his presents. His Granny and Papa got him lots of cute clothes, a ducky book, and a neat frog slinky! Logan loved his gifts! Thank you Granny and Papa!


Then we headed back to Granny and Papa's house to go for our fist summer dip in the pool. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature! Logan was a little apprehensive at first, but after a while he had fun.

But the day was not over yet! In the evening we went to Nana's house (Vanessa's mom). Nana got to open her mother's day presents and Logan opened his birthday presents. Nana got Logan a really cute learning dog and a neat magnet that teaches you about animals! Thank you Nana!



We finished the day off with dinner at the Old Country Buffet. Yummy!!! It was a very busy day, but it was special and lots of fun!
