Chic Fil A Circus Night

We got to eat free Chic Fil A again this year.  They had a circus night and if you dressed up like a circus performer, you got to eat for free :)  Our friends met us there to eat as well.

VBS Fun

This summer has been full of VBS fun.  First the kids attended a VBS called Colossal Coaster and I taught 5th graders at a church.  Then the kids attended another VBS at a different church with a video game theme.  And then I led and the kids attended VBS at 2 of Doug's properties.  We were so blessed to have lots of kids from the properties come and to have lots of volunteers helping!

Grand Opening of a Fire Station

A new fire station opened here in Katy and the boys LOVE fire trucks so I took them to the event.  There was free food, a kids' version of a fireman obstacle training course and they got to play on the fire truck and take a tour.  They thought it was awesome!

 

 

 

 

Cow Appreciation Day

It is our family tradition to dress up like cows and eat free Chic Fil A on Cow Appreciation Day.  This year we ate breakfast at one Chic Fil A and then dinner at another one : )  We love Chic Fil A!

Aila LOVES Dora so when we heard she was going to be at Chic Fil A for breakfast, of course we had to go! Plus we got coupons for free cookies from the VBS we went to so we had cookies for breakfast! A very special treat that the kids loved!

 

 

 

 

 

Happy 4th of July!

This year we just hung at out our house for the 4th.  Doug's parents were in town visiting and some friends came over for a little while.  Then at night we watched the fireworks right in front of our house.  Fireworks are legal in Katy and our neighbors went all out.  I have never seen so many fireworks!

I turned 29.1

I celebrated the first anniversary of my 29th birthday this year :) We decided to spend the afternoon at the beach and then Doug surprised me and we met his parents to eat my favorite pizza!

4th of July Playdate

I hosted a play date and had our friends over to make a 4th of July craft.  We painted jars red, white, and blue and made popsicle stick flags : )
