Children's Museum

We went to the free night at the Phoenix Children's Museum last night and had a blast. Doug's mom is in town and she came with us. We also met up with my friends Jillian and Ericka and their kiddos. Logan loved it. He would have so much fun doing one thing that he didn't want to move on to the next. We went to a new room last night that was a huge kid's grocery store. All the kids played different roles. Logan's favorite was working in the stock room and loading the truck. We also went in another room where it had tons of tubes and tunnels all over the place for the kids to drop balls down. We had to drag Logan out of that room to go see more. When I asked him what his favorite part was last night he said it was the tunnel. Usually he says the bike but last night he was having so much fun climbing in and out of the tunnels. On the way to the museum: Waiting on line to get in the museum: Aila is always so popular: Hanging out while Logan played in the tunnels. He would have stayed here all night if we let him: Playing in the tunnels: Art time! Jillian and Teo: Logan loved this house made completely out of paint! He laughed every time he touched it: The kids enjoyed the pulley that shot the spiders in the air. I was hit in the gut by a stuffed spider while taking this picture! The price the mamarazzi must pay! LOL: Granny got Aila this adorable outfit: Aila loved splashing in this water. They had paint brushes to dip in the water and then you could paint a rock with water. Aila tried to eat the brush so I just let her play in the water. Grocery Store Room: Ball drop: Aila was too little for the bike but she walked with this push toy on the track. The only problem was that it went really fast and she kept falling : (

Riding the bike:
This looks good to chew on... Oops I fell over! Logan loved eating his Granny's candy

Walk Against Alzheimer's

My cousin Debbie is walking against Alzheimer's and Doug and I are going to join her. Many of you know that my dad has Alzheimer's disease. It is a horrible, depressing disease that I wish no one had to suffer from! Please support us in our walk against Alzheimer's! You can click on the donate box on the top right of our blog or you can visit any one of the following links to donate:

Whoopie Cushion

This is the type of thing Doug brings home for Logan. The videos should speak for themselves.

Logan Feeding Aila

Logan thinks he is all grown up now. He wants to do everything himself. He thinks he is so big that he can take care of his sister. The other day he begged me to feed Aila and I let him. He got a few spoonfuls in her mouth and snuck a few into his own mouth. It was very messy but it was so cute and he was so proud of himself. Luckily they didn't have any clothes on so I could just throw them in the tub afterward. Check it out:

Blessed

Doug and I had these old pots and pans for cooking. Recently the bottoms of the pots had started completely flaking off! I know gross!!! We had to throw most of them away and we only had one good pot left. Well my mom had bought this awesome set of pots from a garage sale and she never ended up using them. She asked me if I wanted them last week and I almost started jumping up and down! What perfect timing! She also gave me all of the old VHS tapes I loved to watch as a kid. Now I can watch Shirley Temple and Pippy Long Stocking with Aila when she gets older : ) She also had some dollar store goodies for the kids. It felt like Christmas. Thanks mom for Christmas in July! We have been cooking up a storm with those awesome pots, I have already watched two Shirley Temple movies, Aila has worn her butterfly headband twice this week and Logan loves his Bible flash cards!

And that is not all.... I am getting a new camera! I have wanted one forever but I could never justify spending money on one. My camera is about 6 years old and is very slow to take pictures. I also have to put in a new set of batteries about every 2 weeks. I only post the good pictures on my blog but more than half turn out blurry or with the people looking like ghosts. Most peoples cell phones these days can take a higher resolution picture than my camera. LOL Well this week Doug helped our friend DJ and he made some extra money so (DRUM ROLL PLEASE) I am getting a new camera!!! I can't wait for it to get here! It produces images with 10.1 megapixals and has 7.0 optical zoom. And the best part is that it has a rechargable battery that can be charged in less than 2 hours. Wahooey! I am litterally doing a happy dance as I type. Check it out:
